Death is more universal than life, everyone dies but not everyone lives. A. Sachs

The Harris Family would like to thank their friends at Flagg's Trailer Park for the picnic table which was dedicated to Bob Harris. It is fitting that it is at the site of the campfire as that's where he shared most of his humor on Saturday nights.

May the one armed man count his change forever in his memory!

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Robert Thomas Harris who was born in Massachusetts Boston on September 3, 1938 and passed away on April 5, 2007. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

He leaves his wife of 44 years, Lorraine, son of 42 years, Bobby, daughter of 41 years, Lisa, son of 39 years, Chris, daughter of 37 years, Debbie. Along with grandsons, Matthew, Ryan, and Shawn, and granddaughters, Samantha, Jessica, Kayla, and Lexi. He leaves his sisters Mary, Bernie, Shiela, and Helen and brother Paul (Rocky), sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, along with hundreds of friends from Cambridge, MA to York, ME.

Memories..
This memory I would love to forget.
The night you passed away was the worst day in my life.
Not only for me but for our family and many friends.

But you will never be forgotten and always be remembered and loved
We lost you Bob and i still feel as if the world lost the most important person on earth.

This is my prayer for you:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always be at your back.
May the sunshine warm upon your face and rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again.
May GOD hold you in the palm of his hand.
I will love you forever
You loving and sad wife Lorraine

Dad, since I was born, we saw the Celtics win 11 titles together, and finally the Sox in 04! We shared 3 Pats Super Bowl W's together. The year you passed, the Pats go undefeated and lose the Super Bowl to your other favorite team, (the Giants). We saw the Bruins win in 70 and 72! After you left us in 07 the Sox, Celts, and B's have won another! You are still with me every time we win! Happy Father's Day Champ!

Hi my Love:
Just having one of those moments when I wish you where with me tonight.
I can't begin to say how much I miss you
You where my rock my life and my reason for living.
I just wished I had told you all of this when you where alive.
I know that you knew I loved you but I feel I never showed you enough.
I loved you more than life itself.
If I could have had the choice I would have gone before you so I would not be in such pain.
Selfish HUH??? I guess..
We will be together again that is for sure.
Until then know that I have and always will love you with all my heart.
There will never be another for me.
As lonely as it is without you no one else can ever love me the way you did.
Love and Miss you
Until we meet again.
Your Loving Wife XO XO

Valentines day without you again  Bob !
The memories of our past Valentines day will always be with me.
You always remembered with maybe a card that always said what you felt in your heart or sometimes even flowers.
Just to show how much you loved me.
I cherish those memories every day.
Know that you are and always will be my only Valentine  and always the love of my life.
I love you so very much and miss you even more.
My one and only true love.
Happy Valentine's day.
Until we meet again
Love you
Lorraine

I hope you find the words below both inspirational & comforting at this time of rememberance. When Denise lost her brother some years ago we came in contact with these words, and they are lovely way to remember a loved one. They remind us that the bond between family loved ones never die, they are truly immortal.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Please pass our sincere condolences to your Mum & other family.

I am sorry to hear about your loss.  I have many fond memories of your Dad.  I almost cried when I saw the pictures.

I am most grateful to your Dad and Mom for taking me in when I needed a home.  Not many people would have done that.  Be proud of your Dad.  Mom, miss you.

Love Brenda
