I hope you find the words below both inspirational & comforting at this time of rememberance. When Denise lost her brother some years ago we came in contact with these words, and they are lovely way to remember a loved one. They remind us that the bond between family loved ones never die, they are truly immortal.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Please pass our sincere condolences to your Mum & other family.
Ross & Denise
This is for Lorraine, Bobby, Lisa, Chris and Debbie.
Remember me when flowers bloom early in the spring.
Remember me on sunny days in the fun that summer brings
Remember me in the fall as you walk through the leaves of gold
And in the wintertime-remember me in the stories that are told
But most of all remember each day-right from the start ,
I will be forever near For I live within your heart.

I want you to know, I know how you all feel, nothing can make you feel better and nothing can take the pain away. But hes watching over you all. Remember one thing, you will never accept this but just deal with it one day at a time.
I will always be there for all of you. And I want to thank-you for making me feel part of your family. I Love You All
Love Kathy
Dad used to write poems in his cards to us, so here is a poem that I wrote and read at his funeral mass.
He was so poor growing up he wore his sister’s patten leather shoes.
For work he repaired phones, and sold some booze.
He used to vacation at Lake Winnepasauke.
He had sisters named Mary, Bernie, Sheila, Helen and a brother named Rocky.
He loved the Red Sox, the Pats.
The Giants, not Cats.
We almost lost him in ‘78, but he fought to hold on.
He gave us 29 more years, we can’t believe he’s now gone.
He was a fighter his whole life.
We know his fighting spirit will help his friends and family, especially Lorraine, his wife.
He’d sing What A Wonderful World at weddings and Karaoke night.
To see him do Louis Armstrong was a Wonderful sight.
He loved his puzzles, poker games, gameshows on TV.
And hanging with Sully, The Greek, and Buckley at the V.
Lived most his life in Somerville, and he was proud to be from there.
If you stopped by to see him, he’d offer you a cold beer.
He loved to walk the beaches along the ocean up by Flaggs in York, Maine.
And when you’re up there don’t ever use that 4 letter word, rain.
He was a man of routines, Monday Spaghetti, Tuesday it’s Steak, for Bob.
He was the funniest guy you’ll ever meet and could do comedy for a job.
His grandchildren are Jessica, Kayla, Lexi, Matthew, Samantha, Shawn, and Ryan.
When they went out to eat, Papa was buyin’
His children are Bobby, Lisa, Chris, and Debbie, had pets named Panda, Lucky and Scamp.
He hated to lose, because he was a true Champ.
Today we bury you on Opening Day, which is only a game of fun.
Whether they win or lose, it doesn’t matter, because we know who’s #1.
May you rest in peace Dad, the Wonderful World won’t be the same.
And we will always think of you whenever we watch a Red Sox or Pats game.
You are surrounded by family and friends who feel for you, and mourn your loss. All the love shared with Robert, "Dad", is all around you, in the hearts of your family, and children, and within you. Never more than a thought away..
